I have a First Class Honours Degree in Communication, Culture and Media, and over 10 years' experience as a Personal Assistant.

My experience ranges from executive level support with financial PR, consulting, advertising, marketing, and health & wellness companies, to being a primary school secretary, and offering personal lifestyle support to individuals.

Having completed the Advance Virtual Assistant Academy Course, I am well versed in the standards expected from the VA industry.

After taking a few years off full time work to run around after our 3 children, I returned to the world of being a Personal Assistant.

I wanted to find a role that allowed me to have the flexibility to be with my family, but also the opportunities to work with the people and businesses that really interest me.

This prompted my decision to set up Compass Rose Virtual Assistant.

Why a ‘Compass Rose’?

A 'compass rose', sometimes called a 'wind rose', is a figure on a compass, map, nautical chart, or monument used to display the orientation of the cardinal directions (North, East, South, West).

I grew up enjoying sailing with my family, and moving house many times as a result of military life, so I feel like a compass rose has played a big part in the direction of my life!

Not only do I love how they appear, but the idea of helping people and companies to better ‘navigate’ their way through their business administration appeals to me. These thoughts were the inspiration for creating the name ‘Compass Rose Virtual Assistant’.
